PRECISIONES SOBRE LA MORFOLOGÍA Y ULTRAESTRUCTURA DEL TALO DE CHAETOPHORA ELEGANS (CHAETOPHORALES, CHLOROPHYTA)

Observations on the thallus of Chaetophora elegans are presented. Both the prostrate and the erect systems are described at optical level, being the present the first accurate electron microscopical study made in the genus on the vegetative ultrastructure. Moreover, the distribution of this species is extended in Argentina.

Se describe el talo de Chaetophora elegans precisando la morfología de los sistemas postrado y erguido, se realiza el primer estudio detallado de la ultraestructura vegetativa en el género y se amplía la distribución de la especie en la República Argentina.
